Look­ing back at Kiwigrid’s show­case at the E-world 2018

E world ener­gy & water has once more pro­vid­ed impres­sive proof of its posi­tion as Europe’s lead­ing trade fair in the ener­gy indus­try: For the first time, 750 exhibitors (more than ever before) from 26 nations pre­sent­ed their solu­tions for the future of the ener­gy sup­ply at Messe Essen. Dig­i­tal­i­sa­tion, flex­i­bil­i­sa­tion and decen­tral­i­sa­tion were the defin­ing sub­jects on which the over 25,000 vis­i­tors from 73 nations obtained infor­ma­tion and exchanged ideas. Kiwigrid was exhibit­ing with a new con­cept in Hall 6 right next to Bosch Soft­ware Inno­va­tions.

The Dres­den-based Inter­net of Things provider demon­strat­ed the IoT- and iMSys-based solu­tions devel­oped togeth­er with its cus­tomers. In addi­tion, BMW, inno­gy, SHARP Ener­gy Solu­tions, envi­aM Group and SOLAR­WATT show­cased their prod­ucts in front of the E-world audi­ence. Kiwigrid’s appear­ance was round­ed off by two pan­el dis­cus­sions about IoT, sec­tor con­ver­gence and smart meter­ing sys­tems. These were attend­ed by high pro­file rep­re­sen­ta­tives of the ener­gy indus­try, includ­ing Mar­tin Her­rmann (inno­gy), Dr. Andreas Auer­bach (envi­aM), Jochen Schnei­der (cone­va), Peter Zay­er (FNN/Voltaris), Peter Thiele (Sharp) and Paul-Vin­cent Abs (E. ON Meter­ing).
